May I remain ever faithful to you, O Lord.

Remember your leaders
      who spoke the word of God to you;
consider how their lives ended,
and imitate their faith. 

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teaching.

May we be truly build up the Body of Christ.

Christ gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers
in roles of service for the faithful to build up the body of Christ,
till we become one in faith and in the knowledge of God's Son,
and form that perfect man who is Christ come to full stature.
